2014 Art & Music Schedules Announced
FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE:
Brite WINTER 2014 Music Schedules, Installation Artists and Full Event Details Announced.
CLEVELAND, Ohio (January 29, 2014) A thick layer of snow and sub zero temperatures across most of the midwest will not deter the organizers of Cleveland’s annual Brite WINTER festival. In fact, the wintery weather has served as inspiration as planners make arrangements to keep winter revelers safe, warm, and especially entertained in the festival’s fifth year.
Festival organizers at Brite Cleveland have designed the annual “celebration of winter” to hold more activities, art, and almost twice the music as previous years. “It’s our intention to make February 15th an epic, unadulterated, non-stop joy-ride… it’s Brite WINTER, we’re gonna have fun.” say’s Thomas Fox, Director of Programming for Brite WINTER.
The full music line up, installation artists, food, and games are available at britewinter.com

Brite WINTER Takes place across the Ohio City Market District. 100% of the venues are “non-traditional” including 4 outdoor stages as well as stages in an art gallery, bike shop, retail storefront, and brewhouse. Lights and art installations can be found in the windows of neighborhood partners participating in the festival. Attendees can keep warm at several bon-fires while listening to live music and enjoying craft beer, coffee, or hot chocolate outside in a veritable winter wonderland.

77 bands ranging in genre from folk, punk, rock, bluegrass, electronic and singer songwriter will be showcased at the festival this year. These acts are hand selected from submissions of artists from across North America. Close to half of the showcasing artists are native to Northeast Ohio with the other half traveling to Cleveland from all over the Eastern United States. Accepting less than 5% of submitting artists to play each year, Brite Winter has developed a reputation amongst the music community for hosting cult-following acts and breaking new artists in the Cleveland music scene.
